Staff and food could not be better. The rooms with great bed, lovely views, for instance. The hotel was located so close to city center, restaurant, centre of town.

Nice hot breakfast, informative staff, good wi-fi. The rooms were absolutely perfect and immaculate with bright bathrooms. The service at this great historic hotel was fantastic. Nice garden outside. Bar was pretty lovely.

The property overall was immaculately clean and funky, had excellent staff and food. I got free upgrade and enjoyed it. Bidet was nice looking and everything was very good. Lovely lobby.

It's the best 5-star experience I ever had. No words to describe how I enjoyed staff and location. It took me 10 mins to get to the bus station.

The best location, substantial breakfast, very stylish staff and excellent wi-fi. I liked a very bright decor and antique furniture. Beds were great, clean pool area. Refreshing drinks at roof top bar, exceptional service. Hotel was close to restaurants and cafes.

No better place than Quintinha De Sao Joao. We truly enjoyed city view and available amenities, including a private safe, a mini-bar and cable channels. For short-orders there was Castelo dos Hamburguers, we found it close by.

In a hotel like this - stain is unacceptable.

Staff were WELCOMING there. If you want to eat nearby, try April Restaurant, which is situated 500 m away. We would book here again, can't complain about anything.
